Brian began his career at Mercury General in claims where he rose to Regional Claims Manager. He was recruited by Coast National Insurance (now Farmers) culminating in an eight-year role as VP of Claims and Operations, including House Counsel, Human Resources, Facilities and Data Processing. In 1999 he joined Kemper Auto & Home as their Chief Claims Officer where he managed personal lines claims for 16 states and 11 underwriting companies and oversaw the underwriting operations for three states. When the company was sold to Unitrin, he focused on technology and claims consulting, joining Bluebook International as EVP of International Insurance Solutions and then moving on to Decision Research Corporation as a contract Senior Sales & Account Executive for 10 years. He is a principal in Curtis, Joseph and Neil LLC, a management consulting group. Brian earned his B.S. in Industrial Management – Computer Science from Purdue University.
